Cards are a collection of patience (i.e. single-player) card games. Included are: Aces Up, Black Widow, Canfield, Demon, Double Klondike, Double Solitaire, Grounds for Divorce, Fan, Forty Thieves, FreeCell, Golf, Gypsy, Klondike, Maze, Mod 3, Montana, Penguin, Pile On, Pyramid, Regiment, Russian Solitaire, Sanibel, Includes hints, unlimited undo, scoring, explanations of the rules automatically moving cards to the foundations, and intelligent moving of cards when you left click on them.
The Card games listed here include several
variations of solitaire, some classics like hearts and spades,
puzzle type games using cards, and some poker
card game variations. All the card games
are free to try. The ones labeled freeware are completely
free and have no time limits. None of the poker
games use real money but are only for fun and for helping
you become a better card player.
The rest of the Card Games web site deals mostly with games for more than one player, but on this page I have provided some links to sites which specialize in one-player games. Some of these sites contain rules or analysis, and many of them provide software, since these solitary games are particularly suitable for play against a computer.
