It is difficult to believe another year has passed, but we have tons of games and reviews to show for it. And what better way to celebrate the year than with a look back to give credit where credit is due by giving props to those special titles that stood head and shoulders above the rest. This will be our third annual "Best of" feature and, like each year before, we invite you to participate.
This year we are doing things a little differently than previous years, however. The nominations for the year's best games were hand-selected by us from all reviews published here within the calendar year, 2006.
This year two games shared the title of 2006 Game of the Year, Some of the best games are:
Dream Life : Tiger Electronics This game is designed especially for girls who enjoy choosing clothes, decorating their room, and doing hair. The unit is plugged into a TV and the players use a remote control to move around the game. You create your own character and then take her around a virtual world, creating her room, doing chores to earn money, buying clothes, playing sports, and other activities.
Hullabaloo : This game is no different, but it is simple enough for you little ones to enjoy. To play you need to set out the 16 floor pads featuring shapes, colors, and pictures on the floor close enough for your children to hop from one to another. Then the speaker unit instructs the players to jump on a certain color, step, find an animal etc. This game has great parental reviews.
